Q. Where are Muskegon Community Concerts performances held?

A. All performances are held at the Frauenthal Center for the Performing Arts, Muskegon, MI 49440 (corner of 3rd and Western).

Q. What are 2008-2009 Season Membership Ticket Prices?

A.
1. Prior to May 1, 2008
Adult - $60; Student - $15; 2 Adults & Child(ren) - $135; 1 Adult & Child(ren) - $75
2. May 1, 2008 and later
Adult - $75; Student - $15; 2 Adults & Child(ren) - $165; - 1 Adult & Child(ren) $90
Patron seating is available for a donation of $35 or more per order.

Q. How do I purchase a season membership or get an order form?

A. Bring your check or credit card to one of the remaining concerts this season (French Chamber Orchestra on Mar. 4, Free Opera Concert on Mar. 31, or Harry James Orchestra on Apr. 19). We will have a campagin table in the Western Ave. lobby.
Or you may:
1. Mail an order form with a check or credit card number to MCCA 587 W. Western, Muskegon, MI 49440, or call 231-722-6520 and place an order over the phone using Visa, Mastercard or Discover.
2. You may also visit our website at www.muskegonconcerts.org to print an order form that can be mailed with your check or credit card number.
3. Stop by our office to pick up a form or place an order in person. Please note that our offices will be closed from June 29 to July 8, 2008.
4. After September 1, 2008, new season memberships will be available at the Frauenthal Box Office.

Q. How do I get a $5 discount coupon?

A. Coupons are available at the campaign tables in the lobby or at our office (587 W. Western) and must be used prior to March 31 for $5.00 off each adult season ticket.

Q. Will I receive a receipt for my purchase of a season membership?

A. We will not be mailing you a receipt. Your cancelled check or credit card statement will be your receipt for your membership. If you made an additional donation, you will be sent a letter at the end of the year thanking you for your tax-deductible contribution.

Q. When will I receive my tickets for next season?

A. Your season tickets will be mailed to you in September. (The first concert is Fri., Oct. 3, 2008.)

Q. Are my tickets for assigned seats?

A. All seats are general seating, however, members who give an additional donation of $35 or more may sit in sections reserved for patrons. When giving an additional donation, all tickets on an order will be patron tickets. You may make a tax-deductible contribution as a Patron ($35-$74), Benefactor ($75-$149), Angel ($150+), Concert Underwriter ($2500+).

Q. What happens if I refer a friend?

A. If a friend purchases a new membership (not a renewal) by April 12, 2008, then you will be mailed a complimentary ticket that is good for any performance for the 2008-2009 season,

Q. How do we use the yellow complimentary ticket coupon?

A. The yellow complimentary ticket coupon is our gift to you to pass to a friend who is not currently a Community Concerts Member. To redeem the coupon, please fill in the information requested and turn it in to the Frauenthal Box Office at 427 W. Western, Muskegon, MI 49440. The Box Office is open 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Mon. through Fri., and also two hours prior to every show until ½ hour after the show begins. The Box Office phone number is 727-8001. The coupon is good for two general admission tickets at the French Chamber Orchestra on Mar. 4, 2008 or the Harry James Orchestra on Apr. 19, 2008, if seating is available.

Q. What do I do if I lose my tickets or forget them on the day of the performance?

A. Your order is on file with the Frauenthal Box Office and they will replace your ticket as a courtesy to you; however, there will be a $.50 fee for each replaced ticket.

Q. What is the free opera concert?

A. This year, as part of our present season, we are pleased to offer you a free concert, An Evening at the Opera, with the Indianapolis Opera Ensemble on Monday, March 31, 2008 at 7:00 PM at the Frauenthal. Tickets are not required. There will be open seating, so plan to arrive early. Doors will open at 6:30 PM.
